I am a 5th year PhD Student in the Human-Centered Autonomy Lab majoring in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign advised by Prof. Katherine Driggs-Campbell.

February 2024: I was a student speaker at The 19th Annual CSL Student Conference 2024 for the Robotics Session! I spoke about my work “Co-operative Advisory Residual Policies for Congestion Mitigation”. I am honored to have won the Best Presentation Award.
February 2024: Our work on an assistive navigation system for People with Visual Impairments, DRAGON, was published in the Robotics and Automation Letters.
January 2024: Presented Beyond the Dashboard: Investigating Driver Preferences Under Distraction for Communication with ADAS at the TRB Annual Meeting 2024 in Washington DC!

September 2023: Presented PeRP at ITSC in Bilbao, Spain. Also got to interact with and meet a lot of wonderful researchers in the Transportation community.

May 2023: Visited the Centre of Intelligent Robotics at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad and gave my talk: “Towards Systems for Adaptive Modes of Communication between Drivers and their Advanced Driver Assistance Systems”. Also presented Towards Co-operative Congestion Mitagation at the Shared Autonomy in Physical Human-Robot Interaction: Adaptability and Trust workshop and ‘Designing a Wayfinding Robot for People with Visual Impairments’ at the Intelligent Control Methods and Machine Learning Algorithms for Human-Robot Interaction and Assistive Robotics workshop.
May 2022: Returned to Google for another internship. I am working on Advertiser Business Summarization.
January 2022: Meta-path Analysis on Spatio-Temporal Graphs for Pedestrian Trajectory Prediction accepted to ICRA 2022.
December 2021: Received an Honorable Mention at the inaugural Stretch Robot Pitch Competition.

May 2021: Began my internship at Google. I am working on experimenting with Pre-training the Multi-modal BERT model on unlabelled data to improve performance in extracting business titles from storefront images.
